And they said you find them under a cabbage leaf. HA!

We all know you actually find babies under the zucchini leaves!

Grandma and Shauna playing hide and go seek with the veggies...

Every time they turned around there was another enormous zucchini! They pruned and gathered and giggled. What a fun morning at Grandma's house!

Could there ever be a more adorable child???? I think NOT! And sweet as can be, too. We are blessed, that's for sure!

The last day with our little baby doll...

...and boy are we going to miss her! She is wearing her new little dress that we bought her, and she didn't EVER want to take it off. :) She is a girly-girl, that is for sure! Grandpa and Grandma are totally in love with our little Chiara...

Protecting our little lamb....

I used this as the visual aid in my YW lesson today...it was about how important it is to have a Worthy Priesthood Leader in your home. I think this picture captures it perfectly because she had no idea how dangerous the waves were, and all she wanted to do was run into them with great abandon. I love this picture...and this wonderful man.

We beach ourselves...

...two weekends in a row! If that's what our grandbaby wants, that's what our grandbaby gets!

"Imagine yourself as a living house. God comes in to rebuild that house. At first, perhaps, you can understand what He is doing. He is getting the drains right and stopping the leaks in the roof and so on; you knew that those jobs needed doing and so you are not surprised. But presently He starts knocking the house about in a way that hurts abominably and does not seem to make any sense. What on earth is He up to? The explanation is that He is building quite a different house from the one you thought of - throwing out a new wing here, putting on an extra floor there, running up towers, making courtyards. You thought you were being made into a decent little cottage: but He is building a palace. He intends to come and live in it Himself."
— C.S. Lewis
