My darling son gets home in mid-July and I am so excited! He is having a wonderful mission and we are so proud of him.

Shelli's friend gave her this adorable little outfit and she loved it so much that she put it on Chiara for her trip home from the hospital. It has a little bear on it, and the hat has bear ears on it--even the attached slippers are little bears....too cute for words!

I sure miss our little angel! I am counting the days til I get to see her again....

Not to be ungrateful, but I still like my GRANDBABY better...

Here is my new oven, stove, and microwave/convection oven. They are finally all installed today, so I guess I better break out the novels that tell me how to use them....Have I mentioned that I HATE that? I made sure to buy my kids the same digital camera and cell phone that I have, so they could teach me how to use it. My motto is, "Just give me the oral report".... :) Guess I'm on my own with these new appliances-- that could get expensive! Too bad my 20 year-old old appliances couldn't just hang in there for a few more years... I have a lot of things I'd rather spend our money on. But they look nice and I'm super grateful for them....but still.

What I would give....

Bathtime for our little darling

Chiara thought Grandma's hand was a yummy little distraction from her bath in the kitchen sink. She seemed to enjoy the warm water, and was a very good sport throughout the whole ordeal. What an absolute angel!

Grandma is completely and totally in love....

Our grandbaby is finally here!

Chiara Snyder was born on February 25th, and we could not be more thrilled! She is the sweetest grandbaby on the planet, and we are so blessed to have her in our family. We are IN LOVE..... Stay tuned for the story of her rocky entry into this world. But Grandma just got home from three weeks in Utah and she is TIRED...far too tired to blog about this most wonderous gift just yet.

This is one of the greatest things that has ever happened to us. I always knew that Torrey and I would be ecstatic to be grandparents, but you should see us....we are completely overwhelmed with love for this little angel. She is so much like her precious mother that I can scarcely believe it. We are crazy in love with this little darling!
