Standing up for marriage

This was at the beginning of our sign waving adventure, and we were all still happy. We were upbeat and getting a kick out of the honks and positive reinforcement. And then the "hating" began. It's interesting to me that people that are screaming, literally in our case, for tolerance, don't HAVE any for those with differing viewpoints. We were being peaceful and friendly, but the opposition was most certainly not. Our sign was stolen out of our front yard last night, too, so that will have to be replaced.

It is nice to see the people that will be affected the most getting in on the action. Hooray for the kids in our community!

How is it looking??? Will it pass?

Sorry for the hate.... maybe you should have mooned them?

Now why didn't I think to moon them???? If only I weren't the Bishop's wife.....

:)

I haven't seen the latest polls, but at one point we were getting pretty close. However, while calling around last night, there were several people on my list who were supposedly on the Yes side that had changed their minds. So we'll have to pray harder and work harder, right? What an eye-opening experience this has all been....Can't wait until it's OVER.
